A prayer for Christmas Eve

Tonight O God, in the midst of darkness you came and shone a Holy Light.  The Light that You sent in Your Son, was so bright, that nothing not even His impending death could dampen the reality of Christmas!  Tonight, may His light continue to shine through us and to the world who sees the light of Jesus shining in our homes through our hearts.  In Christmas’ love we pray.  Amen!

We gathered on a chilly evening in the Bitterroot Valley for our Christmas Eve service. Like Christians from around the world, we were blessed to have so many with whom we could share the worship of the Nativity of the Lord.
