2015 UMW Officers and Program Leaders

The first gathering of the United Methodist Women in 2015 took place this afternoon at the church with thirty-one in attendance.
Today's hostesses, Mary Costello and Phyllis Daniels, provided beautiful western-themed decorations for each table and delicious treats!  

The program was presented by Becky Boykin, assisted by Marcia Prather, who presented a very informative talk about disabilities and ministries in the church and the community.

In addition to the fellowship and business portions of our gathering today was also the installation of officers for our UMW unit.  All of the committee and work area leaders were recognized as well as everyone who helped with the bazaar and the Creamery Picnic fundraisers.  Pastor Charles presented everyone with ribbons indicating what offices, role, or ministries each person would be engaged in during this year.
