UMW in June


Trudy leads the meeting
Claire offers the program
Twenty were on hand today for the monthly meeting and program.  

Sonia Henry presented the spiritual formation devotional with a focus on I Peter 5:1-11.  Today's program was presented by Claire Kelly who spoke about those on the periphery who are affected by violence in the world.

Upcoming events:
Rummage sale set-up - next Friday @ 9am (sale on the 20th).
VBS: Help is needed June 22-26
Apple Dumplings: We'll make the dumplings on August 3rd with pre-sales on the 6th.  The Creamery Picnic is August 7/8.
UMW Fall District Meeting: September 19th @ Corvallis UMC
 
The hostesses for today were Sonia Henry and Fran Jackson.

Next month's gathering will the annual UMW picnic which is going to be held at Bonita Ziegler's on July 10th.
