Each year, Intermountain brings 40 of its highest needs youth to Flathead UMC for a summer camp experience. Because of the circumstances and symptoms surrounding these children, this is usually their first experience of summer camp. Your congregation can help keep this opportunity a financial reality for the agency in one (or more!) of the following ways:
- Pay a camper’s way. Registration is $120 per camper, and Intermountain sends over 50 campers & staff each year.
- Sponsor snacks! S’mores and songs around the campfire are a favorite, and cost $0.25/each.
- Sponsor crafts! The camp staff entertain and challenge campers with various craft projects. A donation of $15 would cover one camper’s crafts.
- Build a basket.
- Rockin’ Road Trip: Make the road trip an enjoyable one by throwing together a gas gift card, fun CD, snacks, and games. We’re looking for 5 baskets.
- Big Splash: The kids love the water! Help them be sun smart by packing a basket with sunscreen, beach towels, gift cards for sunshirts and swim shoes (so staff can buy the correct sizes), and water toys. We’re looking for 5 baskets.
