From the Yellowstone Conference:
Want to DO something to help
those affected by Hurricane Harvey [and other disasters] and the fires here in the West?
Jesus calls us reach out to our neighbors, and offer HOPE, especially in
times of need. The United Methodist Church has connections to make
that possible.
There is a great need for Cleaning Buckets
and Health Kits.
Many, many of you contributed this spring
and brought supplies to annual conference. Now, we ask you to go the
second mile and gather supplies again in September. You can simply
gather the supplies, or gather the supplies and assemble the kits. Click
on the links above for details.
The Yellowstone Conference clergy are gathering Oct. 4-6
at Fairmont Hot Springs, and we ask that all attendees bring the
supplies to Fairmont. Dave Harvey from Bozeman UMC will collect all the
supplies on Oct. 5 and take them to the UMCOR West Depot in Salt Lake City. If you cannot get supplies to Fairmont, please contact me, Sally McConnell, and we may be able to make arrangements to pick up your supplies at an earlier date somewhere else.
Gather your kids, the men and women of your church and community and see what a difference you can make. Share the love of God! Fill a bucket!
