Today at Stevi UMC
Spring is making an effort to show itself in the Bitterroot Valley! We were blessed by the joy of coming into the Lord's House on such a day as this!
We were able to recognize Bonita Ziegler's 'retirement' as church treasurer after twenty-five years service. The UMW presented Sara Malo with a special recognition pin for her service to the church.
The chimes offered to God a moving rendition of "Great Is Thy Faithfulness." During the offering, Hazel Smith shared "Many and Great," (which uses a traditional Native American melody) in recognition of Native American Ministries Sunday. Pastor Charles shared "Are we still talking about sin" based on Acts 3:12-19.
Prayer shawls were blessed this morning for two children of God who are nearing the end of their respective journeys.
Thanks this morning to: Amanda Hermes (Nursery), Katie Rose (Acolyte), Dave Lockman (Praise music), Ed Sperry & Carol Word (Greeters/ushers), Hazel Smith (Organist), Sherry Paddie (children's message), Tom Bishop (Video), Don Nelson & Kathy Woods (offering counters), and Mary Costello, Dave Rakiecki, and Bonita Ziegler (Fellowship).
