Save the Date

Join us in welcoming our new Bishop Karen Oliveto. Bishop Oliveto was elected to the episcopacy by the Western Jurisdiction of The United Methodist Church on July 15 and assigned to serve the Mountain Sky Area, effective September 1.

The installation service for Bishop Karen Oliveto will be at 1 p.m September 17 at Bozeman United Methodist Church, 121 S. Willson Ave., Bozeman.

Bishop Karen Oliveto spoke with Colorado Public Radio on Aug. 16. In her interview, she articulated her hopes for the Mountain Sky Area: "I want to get to know their relationship with Christ ... I want people in all corners of that region to know I am their bishop and I am committed to meeting them where they are ... I am hoping we can be the best disciples of Jesus Christ we can be."
