First Sunday in Lent @ SUMC

Setting up for fellowship time
Praise singing, it's what we do!
"Standing in the Need of Prayer"
Appreciating the postlude (Julie Ludington)
Appreciating fellowship time!
After being treated to the February thaw, winter made a pronouncement that it wasn't quite done yet with several bands of snow passing through the Bitterroot Valley this morning.

Twenty-two of our community were attending the Yellowstone Conference UMW retreat in Fairmont which made for a smaller than normal congregation today. But the smaller numbers didn't deter us from worshiping God, no sir!

The choir's men shared "Standing in the Need of Prayer," a moving offering to God. Pastor Charles continued the Lenten sermon series (from John Wesley) with "The Almost Christian" (based on Acts 26:28).

Thanks this morning to: Paul Ludington (praise music), Hazel Smith (organ), Tom Bishop (video), Mitch Edgar (acolyte wrangler), Cammie Edgar  (overhead slides), Dean Diers (liturgist), Sharon Brown & Lynn Moshier (greeter/ushers), Sara Malo, Communion, and Ruth Cleveland, Mary Hackett, & Chuck & Norma Petty (Fellowship).
