UMW Saturday Circle

The UMW's Saturday Circle met this morning with four present.

Lisa Menery shared this month's mission focus, the approach to social justice as it comes to us from the Wesleyan perspective.

It was reported that we had a good response from the congregation for the back-to-school drive. Lisa took the collected supplies to the Clothes Closet (the give-away is today).

Possible fall projects were discussed - hats/booties, etc. for infants (clients of WIC), coats/gloves drive for the Poverlo Center and/or S.A.F.E, and a Reverse Advent Calendar.

The recycling program is in a new phase which reflects the changing dynamics of that industry. A possible link to the UMM and a church-wide collection date in the fall here at the church.

Upcoming dates:
Sep. 15 - UMW District meeting @ Dillon UMC
Sep. 15 - Saturday UMW Circle
Sep. 29 - Conference UMW @ Grace UMC - Missoula.
