We're hiring!

The Wesley Foundation (Wesley House) campus ministry at The University of Montana, Missoula, Montana, and the Stevensville United Methodist Church, announce the opening of a shared position at both locations.  The position is for Program Director (PD) at Wesley House and Youth Ministries Coordinator (YMC) at the Stevensville UMC.  The job description for each entity is attached.  Both are half-time positions, 20 hours per week, with flexibility in meeting the needs at either location essential and encouraged.  Members of the SUMC Staff Parish Relations Committee and The Wesley House Foundation Board will conduct the job search.

The successful applicant will have the ability to minister to the diverse needs of youth from preschoolers to college students and, to develop and implement a wide range of programming from children’s vacation bible school to spiritual retreats for young adults.  And, most importantly, to offer effective Christian witness in a wide range of settings.

As the two locations are 35 miles apart, reliable transportation and a current driver's license are very important.

Compensation is as follows.  The Stevensville UMC will fund the YMC position at $1,500.00 monthly, and Wesley will fund the PD position at $750.00 monthly plus the use of their parsonage with utilities included.  No other benefits are offered.

The posted job opening will close on 30 June 2017.  Interviews for qualified candidates will proceed throughout July.  The new hire will commence their job duties at both locations ideally during the first week of August.
