The morning after the storm

Clearing after the rain of Saturday night

Savoring the postlude (Julie Ludington, piano)

A happy assembly
Last night's storm was certainly something to take in! As the sun broke over the Bitterroot Valley this morning we were reminded that like the morning after the storm, our God is creating anew each day.

In the worship service, Marcia Prather shared from the Belmont (NY) Methodist Cookbook (shared with Marcia by Bill Lyon) for our summer offering. Pastor Charles continued the summer sermon series with "The Whole Armor" (pt. 1 & pt.2) with the scripture lesson, Ephesians 6:10-18.

Thanks this morning to: Paul Ludington (praise music), Julie Ludington (piano), Tom Bishop (video), Lois Hansen (liturgist),  Carol Gragg (children's message), Marcia Prather (poetry reading), Paul Goddard & Don Nelson (offering counters), and Marilyn Murphy, John Soper, & Ellyn Jones (hospitality).
