Easter Sunday - Worship

Evan helped with the sermon and communion today
Easter worship. So much focus and energy is put into the service that it is easy to think that the preparation is the reason for the festival worship. Here at Stevi UMC there is a lot of energy in getting ready but the focus is, and always has been, Jesus.

Our choir led us into worship with "Christ the Lord is Risen Today." They also praised God with an anthem and the offertory. Pastor Charles was assisted in the sermon, "Option A or Option B," by the able assistance of Evan, Hazel's Great-grandson. The young man has the right stuff!

See the service at this link.

Thanks this morning to: Ollie & Hazen (Acolyte), Dave Lockman (Praise music), Ed Sperry & Carol Word (Greeters/ushers), Julie Ludington (Pianist), Hazel Smith (Organist), Paul Ludington (Liturgist), Brenda Bolton (Choir), Connie Rakiecki & Gretchen Speiss (children's message), Sara Malo (communion steward), Bonita Ziegler and Evan (communion), Tom Bishop (Video), Bill Gragg & Chuck Petty (offering counters).
