When Jesus said, “I will
build my church," he chose unlikely materials. Such materials
include you and me and the many other souls that are flawed, dismissed,
outcast, from the wrong tribe, or simply a human. But Jesus did not just use
these materials because he ran out of better choices. He chose with
intentionality to enable God’s people to be a blessing, recognize the real
purpose of God, and claim their inheritance and God’s beloved children.
