One week from today

(this is the 900th blog post)

The East Angola United Methodist Conference needs you!

One week from today you can help the East Angola Conference by giving online on #Giving Tuesday, Dec. 2 between 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. EST. Go to http://www.umcmission.org/give and use Advance # 3021453.

The first $1 million in gifts will be matched. Last year this was met in the first few minutes, so you are encouraged to contribute EARLY.

I encourage you to consider making a special contribution to our partners, pastors in the East Angola UMC. The Yellowstone Conference has supported them since 2003. The monthly salary for the 60 pastors in East Angola is $40 a month. Forty dollars doesn’t provide a comfortable lifestyle, but it provides hope.

“Without the pastor support Advance, the United Methodist Church in East Angola wouldn’t survive.”
                                      -Ken Koome, Global Ministries missionary

*Global Ministries will allocate the matching funds dollar-for-dollar up to the first $1 million in gifts to Advance projects received online on Dec. 2 between 12 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. EST.

A maximum of $2,500 per individual gift to a project will be dispersed as matching funds. A project may receive a maximum of $25,000 in matching funds.
