Our newest members!
Fellowship time was a lively affair!
Holy week began this morning at Stevi UMC a wonderful spirit filling every corner of our church home.

We were blessed in seeing the continued growth of both of the Sunday morning adult classes in numbers and in grace.  Before worship, both the chimes and the choir members were put through their paces, putting the final touches on the morning's musical offerings.

And the worship service!  WOW!  Paul Ludington led the children's procession during the opening hymn while the congregation joined them in waving palms.  Bob Edgar's love of children was in evidence this morning as he spoke with the young disciples about Jesus being our "Palm friend" (aka, Palm frond)!

Today was also special in the life of this congregation as four new members were formally welcomed into our fellowship.  Joining today: Dennis Looney (coming to us from the Southern Baptist Church); Earl & Gretchen Moss (coming to us from the Anglican Church); and Roberta Zielinski (from First UMC - Mount Vernon, Washington).
