Shoe Boxes for the Children of the Blackfeet Reservation is under way again this year!
We
would like to receive all boxes by December 1st. Please mail to the our
address listed below. Also, if you would like to just send a monetary
donation we will use all funds sent in to purchase more items for the
age group that may be lacking in numbers from our inventory of the boxes
received.
Here are a few ideas for "ingredients" for your shoe boxes:
Toys: small cars, balls, dolls, stuffed animals, yo-ups, jump ropes, batteries for any gifts that require batteries
School supplies: pencils, pens, crayons, glue sticks, notebooks, coloring books

Hygiene items: toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, combs, brushes, shampoo, hair ties, simple makeup items
Baby items: diapers, lotion, powder, clothing, rattles, bottles, wipes
Other:
t-shirts, socks, fleece blankets, gloves, small flashlights, lotion,
make-up, ball caps, gloves and hats, candy bars, candy canes, sunflower
seeds, cologne, perfume, ear buds, socks, underwater, hoodies, journals
Rule
of thumb, what you gift your own children or grandchild is appropriate
for our Blackfeet children too. Please DO NOT send used items in the
boxes
