Warm fellowship!
As is often the case here in the Bitterroot Valley, the bitter cold of last week was replaced by several inches of fresh snow Saturday night/Sunday morning. The faithful who managed to make their way to the church celebrated Baptism of the Lord Sunday with joyful hearts!

Church school resumed this morning with an energetic group of children and adults on the second floor and the first session of the new study, "Methodism & you: From our roots to our future."

During worship, Dave Lockman, soloist, and Brenda Bolton, piano, shared a moving version of "Some Children Know.

Pastor Charles' sermon came from Matthew 3, the Baptism of Jesus. The congregation observed the Baptism of the Lord Sunday with a renewal of the Baptismal Covenant.

Thanks this morning goes to: Ben Longbottom & Paul Ludington for clearing the snow; Belinda Alkula, Cathy Hackett, and Liz Goddard for teaching the children; Ava and Hazen (with help from Mitch Edgar and Paul L.) for serving as acolytes; Carol Varien, Vickie Vernon, & Sharon Wheeler for serving as greeters/ushers; Dean Diers for subbing as the liturgist; Carol Gragg shared the children's message; Cammie Edgar provided the overhead support; Tom Bishop operated the video camera; music today came from Hazel Smith, organ, Dave Lockman, soloist, and Brenda Bolton, piano; joey & Dean Diers, and Tom Bishop for taking care of fellowship time.
