The first gathering of the UMM in 2017 took place this morning at the Stevi Cafe` with seven in attendance.
Bob Edgar provided the morning's devotional, relationships take effort and even though God's love is a gift, we still have to make the effort to engage that love. Bob shared three passages, Psalm 3:17-18, John 15:9, and Zephaniah 3:17 to illustrate this attitude.
Don Nelson reported that a message from World Vision stated that the children benefiting from that ministry are doing well.
The main business dealt with the Fourth Annual Valentines Dinner at the church on February 11th. Tickets for the dinner will be $25.00 and will be available from Tom Bishop, Dean Diers, Bob Edgar, and Don Nelson starting next week.
The next breakfast will be at the church on February 11 at 8:00 am.
