A smokey start to August

Beauty is everywhere at SUMC
We love our acolytes
"There was once a '67 Beetle...."
Sunrise brings joy to the worship
We love our community time
A heavy blanket of smoke is obscuring the mountains this weekend, but that didn't deter the faithful from partaking of the means of grace afforded us!

Our celebration this morning included the news that the Stevi UMC entry into the Creamery Picnic parade took first place in the float category!

In the morning's worship service, Sunrise shared "I Saw the Light & Life Will Be Sweeter" for our summer offering. Pastor Charles continued the summer sermon series with "The Beetle with the Rolls-Royce Nose" with the scripture lesson, Mark 10:17-23.

Thanks this morning to: Dave Lockman (praise music), Ava (acolyte), Julie Ludington (piano), Tom Bishop (video), Dean Diers (liturgist), Cammie Edgar (power point), Sunrise - Cleo Guenther, Carole Koval, Bill Lyon, & Connie Rakiecki (summer music), Sharon Brown & Vickie Vernon (ushers), and Cammie & Bob Edgar, Amy Farrell, & Julie Ludington (Fellowship time).
