Pastor Charles has been at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, CO this week with the clergy of the Mountain Sky Conference.

Monday and Tuesday morning were given to his participation on the Board of Ordained Ministry (BOM), the body that helps those seeking  credentialing as  UMC clergy in our area. Pastor Charles is on one of the Reading Teams that reviews and interviews those seeking ordination. He has also been selected to be the BOM liaison to those clergy serving in ministries beyond the local church.

Tuesday evening saw the arrival of more than 300 clergy from across The Mountain Sky Conference which covers 438,413 square miles. The annual gathering of conference clergy is filled with information, making contacts, and savoring the connection that makes the UMC such a special place.

Friday morning, following a presentation on next year's Special General Conference, the gathering made its way to the chapel for the ordination of the Rev. William Novak.
