Reformation Sunday at Stevi UMC

October is drawing to a close and with it comes cooler weather and clearer glimpses of St. Mary's Peak.
This morning the choir shared "Standing on the Promises" as their offering to God. Pastor Charles' sermon, "Satisfied," was taken from Mark 10:46-52. Flowers were placed on the communion table from yesterday's funeral service for Doloras Fryhling.
It was really exciting to see THIRTEEN children come forward to take part in Holy Moly, our children's ministry! It was also exciting to welcome four new members into our fellowship today: Dr. Janice Belcher, Karen & Lenny Johnson, and Julie Weindel.
Thanks this morning to: Amanda Hermes (Nursery), Carole Koval & Bev Schneider (Greeters/ushers), Dave Lockman (Praise music), Ava (Acolyte), Dean & joey Diers (Liturgists), Cammie Edgar (power point), Julie Ludington (Pianist), Brenda Bolton (Choir), Dean Diers (children's lessons), Dean Diers & Don Nelson (Offering counters), and Carol Gragg (Fellowship).
