Installation of officers
The new-look UMW met this morning with twenty-nine on hand! With streamlined reporting of the Unit's business and fewer reports at each gathering there was more time for the program.

Pastor Charles conducted the installation of officers: Sue Pearson/Carole Koval, Co-presidents - Carol Goffe, Treasurer - Julie Weindel, Secretary.

Today's devotion was shared by Mary Costello and based on John 15:5-6.

Carol Goffe & Julie Weindel prepared the 2019 membership booklets which were distributed to those present.

The Mission/Justice/Education presentation was shared by Lisa Nichols who spoke about the need to remember the crisis of murdered/missing indigenous women.

Belinda Alkula and Julie Weindel presented the program which focused on the UMW Pledge to Mission Service and the Four missional foci of the UMW: Climate Justice; Criminalization of Communites of Color; Economic inequality; and Maternal/Child health.

Marcia Prather and Mary Costello provided the model for this year's hostesses, a simple treat of fresh tangerine slices!

Looking ahead:
