Join the Leadership Webinar on Conflict Transformation!

May 2, 2019

Dear beloved members of the Mountain Sky Conference,

As a continuation of our leadership webinar series, we invite you to attend a presentation by the Rev. Kristina I. Lizardy-Hajbi from the Iliff School of Theology in Denver, Colorado.

In times of uncertainty about the future (and even the present), various challenges and dynamics arise within congregations that can be difficult to navigate as clergy leaders. Conflict is guaranteed to be one of those challenges.

In this webinar, clergy will be invited to consider a conflict transformation approach to understanding and leading through difficult issues and times, offered within a broader framework of seeing congregations as emotional systems that call for self-differentiated, non-anxious leadership. Participants will also have an opportunity to assess and reflect on their own conflict styles while considering best practices for leading the congregation through conflict.

We invite you to a Zoom call on Tuesday, May 21 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. MDT. Please sign up online and you will receive login information for our session. After you register for the webinar, please take a moment to complete a quick and easy assessment, which will be greatly useful for your development during the webinar. Here is the link for Conflict Styles Assessment.

Your voice is critical as we navigate these difficult times, and together we will create the future to which God has called us.

We look forward to our conversation with Rev. Kristina I. Lizardy-Hajbi.

Blessings,
