Church family members who share their musical talents with/for the church family:  (1) Musicians; (2) Singers; (3) Chimers; (4) Participants in the brass ensemble band; (5) George C. who whistles the hymns.

Dr. Linda K.’s niece Colleen whose cancer treatments are producing positive results.
Celebration of start of new Bible study last Wednesday night.  It is a great study called “The Wesleyan Way.”  All are welcome to join in on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m.

New Sunday school classes that are underway.
This Wednesday, Mitch E. will have his final review board meeting, and then he will achieve the rank of “Eagle Scout!”  He thanked God and the church family for all the support given.

Celebration that eight members of our church family attended the United Methodist
Women’s (UMW’s) Fall District Gathering yesterday at the Mission Valley UMC.

Celebration for the University of Montana’s football “win” this weekend.

Sonia and Don H.’s good friends, Scott and Donna S., worshipped with us today.

Joy of choir resuming today.

Bryan was able to go home for a few hours before his return to the rehabilitation center.  (Gratitude to God that he is doing as well as he is – considering the original prognosis was that he would never wake up from his coma.)

This church family’s loving support of military mission efforts.
Thanks be to God for emergency responders and our military members who keep us safe.
 

CONCERNS
Prayers for our country’s leadership as they prepare a reaction to the events in Syria.  (To see our bishop's comments about this:  Click here.

Prayers for peace in the Middle East – and in all the “four corners” of the world.
Prayers for those impacted by flooding in Colorado.

Prayers for those who are homeless or who are about to be homeless.
Travelling mercies for those not with us today – and for those who will be travelling soon.

Prayers for healing mercies for (1) Bryan; (2) Bonita Z.’s great granddaughter Piper; (3) Don H.; (4) Sonia H.’s sister Lynn whose leg was broken; (5) Russalenne who was hit by a falling tree; (6) friend undergoing leukemia treatment; (7) Dr. Linda K.’s niece Colleen who is dealing with cancer treatments; (8) Friend Starla who is dealing with cancer.
Elissa who was recently kicked in the head by a horse.  Cameron who recently ran away from home.

Prayers for God’s direction in dealing with aging parents.
Prayers for volunteers who are needed at the local Clothes Closet on Mondays and Saturdays.

Prayers for patience and endurance:  Selena as she awaits news of Bryan’s health condition.
Prayers for our military Veterans.

Prayers for the family and friends of the military service members who were killed in the line of duty this last week.

 

A BIG “THANK YOU” TO THE MANY FOLKS INVOLVED WITH TODAY’S POTLUCK:

(2)  For the wonderful cooks and “food assemblers” who provided food.
(3)  For the dear folks who volunteered to help serve the food.
(4)  For the dear folks who volunteered to help by cleaning up afterwards.
(5)  For the dear folks who volunteered to help by putting the tables and chairs away.
