UMW District Meeting
The United Methodist Women (UMW) from the Western Mountains District gathered today at Mission Valley UMC. There was a lot of laughter, sharing and fellowship for the ladies!
The Stevensville UMC was well represented today with seven in attendance: Belinda Alkula, Carol Gragg, Trudy Freeman, Carole Koval, Charlene Siphers, Hazel Smith and Pastor Charles.
Carol Cragg was re-elected as District treasurer. Belinda and Hazel were elected to the Nominations Committee.
The mission project was to collect "birthday bags" for children who visit the food pantry in Polson. Our unit collected fourteen bags, which were added to the colorful assortment next to the sign-in table. Altogether, there were 78 bags collected - well done, UMW!
