Bill and Mary L.’s 42nd wedding anniversary tomorrow.
Yesterday’s amazing District UMW’s spring gathering at
the church with 75 women (and Pastor Charles) in attendance.
Reunion visits with family and friends.
Sharon W.’s four small grandsons’ visit with her and that
they could all be in church together today.
Safe travels.
Hazel and Les S.’s homecoming.
School librarian and a classmate – Both of them had the
casts on their thumbs removed.
Safe and successful Florence-Carlton High School band’s
spring break trip to Disneyland, California.
Healing mercies, e.g., positive medical health reports
for B.W. and the healing of other sisters and brothers.
Birthday blessings for those near and dear to us: Roy H., Marcia P., Cheryl Z. and Callie’s dad.
Last Sunday’s wonderful “Big Sing,” when we got to sing “Sunday
School” songs of yester-year. (… Looking
forward to the next “Fifth Sunday’s Big Sing” on June 30th…)

especially those who are dealing with “the loss of body, mind and/or spirit.”
Prayers for healing mercies for Julie L.’s uncle, Ms.
Hattie, Friend Marlene, Friend Elarian, Friend Lisa, sister Barb, Lynn M.’s
former colleague, Dean D.’s mother Ruth, Friends Steve and Cathy, Edie B.,
Libby, Friend, Loved One, Judy F.’s sister Carol J., Molly M., Joanne K., Dennis,
Sister Libby, Phyllis D., Olivia’s friend Leona, Jim, neighbor Kristie, Clay
F.’s friend in North Carolina who father is dying and Clay F.’s friend who is
dealing with a blood clot as a result of his involvement in a recent car
accident…. Classmate Janet and “Sister.”
Prayers for truth and justice in a court case later this
week.
Prayers for the families and friends of those killed and
injured in the recent shooting at Fort Hood.
Prayers for the family and friends of the reporter who
was recently killed in Afghanistan.
