UMW on the road

Lunch at the Coffee Cup
The UMW took a trip to Hamilton today to tour three facilities that our UMW supports.  The group took a token gift basket to each including items that are needed at each facility.

Taking part in the field trip were Fran Jackson, Carole Koval, Marcia Prather, and Hazel Smith.  Belinda Alkula joined the group for lunch and a recap of the morning's activities at the Coffee Cup.

Visited today were:

+Linda Massa Youth Home (formerly Bitterroot Youth Home) (shelter for 10-to-18-year-olds who need to be out of their homes for various reasons & who stay for from a month up to a year).

+S.A.F.E. (Supporters of Abuse-Free Environment for abused women & children).

+Emma’s House (the one-stop interview center for abused children).

The group took a token gift basket to each including items that are needed at each facility.
