A full day at SUMC

Guiding Team
Game night!

It was a busy Friday at Stevi UMC from early morning to late at night.

The drop-in Bible study which is held each Friday morning at Doris T.'s home is always a wonderful gathering and today's lesson, concerning the prophet Jeremiah,  was a rich exchange of ideas and fellowship.

Mid-day saw our church supporting the first day of the Habitat for Humanity 'building blitz' with a contribution of food for the workers.

In the afternoon Bonita Z. led the organization of the fellowship hall and luncheon prep for Earl Harper's memorial service at the church (tomorrow at 11 am).

This evening, the Guiding Team met with the review of the recent worship survey the main order of business.  Look for an article in the November Glad Tider to learn about the survey results.

To wrap up the day the monthly Games Night was held with fourteen turning out.  We had so much fun, learning new games and meeting new friends is always a treat!  We'll play again next month on the 21st.
