BUMP Interdenominational Camp Meeting
The Blackfeet United Methodist Parish (BUMP) is hosting its first Interdenominational Camp Meeting from Aug. 27 to 30. BUMP has asked all nations surrounding the Blackfeet Nation to come join our commitment to Christ through prayer.
We have asked Natives from Northern Cheyenne in Lame Deer; the Crow Nation out of the Billings area; Blood Nation out of Standoff, Alberta, Canada; the Cree Nation from Rocky Boy; and the Flathead Nation of Polson area to attend. We are in great hopes to see what God will do during our first Camp Meeting.

Healing Communities Partnership
The Rev. Doug Walker, National Coordinator for Criminal Justice Reform, United Methodist Church General Board of Church and Society, will be coming to Montana this summer to explore developing a partnership between the YACUMC, Freedom in Christ Prison Ministry, and the General Board's Healing Communities Partnership program. We would like to identify members of our conference with an interest in prison/jail ministry, restorative/transformative justice, and successful re-integration of returning citizens back into Montana communities. Please email Pastor Melanie Martin-Dent, Intentional Interim Pastor, Grace UMC, Dillon to express your interest or learn more about these conversations.
