Prayer is a big part of GC 2016 and Pastor Charles took part Monday afternoon in two activities that reflect that importance.

On the conversation center's second floor there is a large hall dedicated to prayer. There are two large labyrinths for walking, ten prayer chapels/stations, and a prayer request station. In addition, there is the availability of dedicated spiritual directors on hand to provide guidance as requested. Those coming to the prayers center are given praying beads that were created by Union Methodists around the US under the leadership of the Upper Room.

The UMW also has a prayer center set up near the conference floor where delegates can receive a handmade cloth labyrinth.

Following the prayer room dedication, Pastor Charles joined a dozen others, circling the convention center, stopping at designated spots for prayer.
