World Communion Sunday

Fall is in the air!
World Communion Sunday
The choir is back
Cake and fellowship!
It's Scout popcorn season

The first Sunday of October is designated by General Conference as World Communion Sunday. This helps secure funds for scholarships for United Methodist students around the world. We are blessed to have a nurturing community that is growing in faith and in service and supports the six general church offerings each year.

Pastor Charles' sermon, "This. This is important" came from Philippians 2:1-13. The choir returned to offer praise to God through music with "The Foolish Man."

Thanks this morning to: Sherry Paddie & Pastor Charles (teachers), Dave Lockman (praise music), Sara and Josh Malo (acolytes), Julie Ludington (piano), Tom Bishop (video), Paul Ludington (liturgist), Cammie Edgar (power point), Sharon Wheeler and Linda Sunderland (ushers), Sara Malo, Josh Malo, and Lynn Moshier (communion), Don Nelson and Kathy Wood (offering counters), Belinda Alkula, Linda Kauffman, and Roberta Zielinski (fellowship time).
