Sundaes on Sunday

The last Sunday in June was a lively affair at Stevensville UMC! We began with the Wired Word class being held in the fellowship hall, what a great thing it is to have disciples excited about growing in their faith, even during the summer!

Dave and Jenna L. led the praise music prior to worship starting and during the service, special music was offered by "Sonrise" (Carole K., Cleo G., and Bill L.).  

We also called Sam B. to the front of the sanctuary to be blessed as she prepares to leave for Brazil on a medical mission aboard the John Wesley medical boat. It is a big deal to send out a missionary from a local church and it speaks well of Sam and her church to be part of this ministry.

Our fellowship time was a real treat in more ways than one!  Thanks to Billie M. and Belinda A. the congregation was treated to a buffet of sundae items.  Our fellowship time is a wonderful example of a welcoming congregation - it is a great sight to have guests and new members being welcomed as part of our church family.
