We're going WOW @ Stevi UMC!

Twelve hardy disciples came out on a blustery evening for to take part in our weekly WOW at Stevi UMC.

Pastor Charles shared with the group two hymns from The Methodist Pocket Hymn-book (1818), "Once More, My Soul the Rising Day," and "Lord, In the Morning Thou Shall Hear."  We discussed how John Wesley, Brother Lawrence, and others saw each day, from rising in the morning to going to bed at night, and everything in between, as a gift from God.

Thanks to John Fisher (bread and chili), Dean Diers (soup) and Pastor Charles (soup) for tonight's meal.

Next week (December 16) will be our last chance to go "WOW" this year, so come out and see what the excitement is all about.
