Valentine's Day @ SUMC

Blessings abounded this morning as the faithful gathered at Stevi UMC!

 Our Lenten study, "Ponderings of the Heart: A Mother's Reflection" had seventeen present. As part of the Lenten observance, participants were given "Protestant prayer beads" to assist them in praying in a focused, unhurried manner.

 During worship, the choir offered a moving hymn by Charles Wesley, "Jesus, Lover of My Soul."
