2013 Fall Apple Fest, part 1

L-R:  Cammie Edgar (stirring the apple butter) and Carol Gragg
A wonderful playground experience!
After church today, the Gragg homestead was "the place to be!"  There was a flurry of fun-filled activities -- something for everyone of the 27 of us who came out for food, fun and fellowship!

Children were scampering everywhere, enjoying the freedom of a safe and fun place to romp and play.  People were involved at a variety of apple-processing stations, e.g., apple chopping, apple pressing (for the BEST and freshest apple cider ever!) and apple peeling and slicing (in preparation to make the BEST and freshest apple butter ever!).

As you can tell from the folks wearing t-shirts, the weather was "spot-on," i.e., in the low 70's.  The sun was shining.  It was a glorious day to come together for a festive time together!

P.S.  Did you notice the amazing mountains in the background in first picture above?  What an incredible place we live in!
