Great Need at Missoula Poverello Center's Ryman Shelter!

In less than 24 hours, our church collected 12 blankets and 12 towels for the shelter!  Belinda is taking them to the shelter today (Friday, October 4th).  Twelve people will have blankets and towels tonight -- thanks to the generosity of those who responded to "the call."  Praise God!  If more are donated Sunday, then someone will take them to the shelter on Monday.
The Poverello Center
Downtown Ryman Shelter

The Poverello Center is a short term emergency shelter.  Despite capacity for only 70 overnight shelter guests, it routinely sleeps up to 100 homeless individual men and women each and every night

FACEBOOK MESSAGE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON:
We need blankets and towels!
The other night we had 97 people stay, and only 3 blankets!

They are open for donations anytime between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.  They are located at 535 Ryman Street, Missoula MT 59802.  Their phone number is (406) 728-1809.

ASAP:  Please go through your linen closets.  Find those clean, old towels and blanket that you don't need/use anymore.  Take them to our church tomorrow, Sunday morning (or whenever you can).

At 2:00 p.m. tomorrow, Belinda will leave the church -- to deliver donated items to the shelter.  And someone will deliver more of them on Monday.

In addition to donations of blankets and towels, please "blanket" all involved with this shelter ... in prayer!  May they feel the warmth of God's love... and ours... this day and in the days ahead!
