August 4th at SUMC



We were blessed with special music, wonderful hospitality, and a faithful community to share it with!

Joys from this morning's worship:
+Josh is out of ICU in Seattle and is now undergoing dialysis three
   times per week.
+The great response for the socks for mission (being taken to  
   Mission u this week).
+The success of another Apple Dumpling effort.
+Those who make church tasks at SUMC a joy.
+Those traveling to visit family and friends.
+The Longbottem's family section.
+A friend who is turning his life around.
+Rick and Bonnie are celebrating their 43rd anniversary this week.
+Don & Mary N. have granddaughter Morgan visiting this week.
+The supply of jam jars provided to guests has been replenished.
+The fun had during the parade!
+Belinda has a job!

Concerns from this morning's worship:
+Lois has leukemia and she and her caregiver, Karen, have left for
  Seattle.
+A friend, Karen, was diagnosed with cancer and her husband,
  Boyd, are in need of prayer.
+Rosemarie has been diagnosed with stage 5 cancer.
+Four [Army] soldiers were killed last week in Afghanistan.
+The Wright family is grieving and is gathering for the funerals net Saturday.
+Healing mercies were requested for Mary L., Hazel, Bev, Laurie,
 Bonnie and Ed's mother-in-law.
