By faith at Stevi UMC


Joys from this morning's worship:
+Lynn M. is just happy to be at worship this morning!
+The UMW raised more than $2,400 through the sale of apple dumplings and thanks everyone who supported this effort through the making or purchase of the apple dumplings.
+The Stevi UMC congregation provided 125 pairs of socks for the Mission u project.  The socks will be taken to the Browning Free Store.
+Betty L. is excited about her upcoming move and that she will be remaining in Stevi.
+Carol, Doris' daughter, is with us this morning.
+Michael, serving in Iraq is doing well.
+Jessica H. is had a scare during her pregnancy but is doing fine now.
+Visits from family and friends.
+Fran and Fred J. mentioned that that their son, Christopher, is serving in Afghanistan.
+School resumes in a few short weeks.
+Jim Z. had good health news recently. 
+Grant L., serving in Afghanistan, is due home in six weeks.
+Sharon W. is anticipating twin great-grandsons soon.
+Bonita Z. is anticipating a great-granddaughter soon.
+Beautiful flowers in the sanctuary this morning from the Charles Wright funeral service held in our church yesterday.
+The Brass Ensemble provided wonderful music for worship today.

+Beautiful flowers for today's fellowship time at the parsonage from Carol G.

Concerns from this morning's worship:
+Those among our family and friends facing cancer: Rosemarie, Liz, and Linda.  Lois is facing leukemia treatments.
+Those traveling this weekend.
+Fran J.'s brother-in-law (45) was diagnosed with epilepsy.
+A friend, Rudy, passed away recently.
+Judy & Woody are having health concerns.
+Grant L.'s unit suffered two deaths this week in Afghanistan.
+The Wright family need our prayers concerning the recent deaths in that family.
