The fast dip into darkness
After Thanksgiving
Affects so much
That is just everyday
In less dark times.
The birds leave feeders earlier,
Bunched protectively,
Lamps light
Last rays fail
Advent announces.

With this, the 57th edition of this holiday event began this afternoon with a most appreciative audience in attendance. Offerings by the choir and chimes, and reflections by some of the choir members made for most memorable evening.
Following the concert we gathered in the fellowship hall and experienced an amazing assortment of treats that had been prepared by the music ministry members.
