Ringing with the children
The faithful gathered on a wintry Christmas Eve to worship God through the celebration of the Nativity of the Lord. Christmas Eve worship is always a wonderful expression of our faith, made special tonight as we sang Silent Night on the 200th anniversary of the hymn being sung in the village church in Oberndorf, Germany.

The choir offered "Little Drummer Boy / Peace on Earth" and "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" was shared by Donna Lewis, Meggie Lewis, and Kalyn Wees. Pastor Charles' sermon, "One light is enough," was taken from John 1:1-5.

Thanks this evening to: Hazen & Katie Rose (Acolytes), Brenda Bolton (Choir), Cammie Edgar (Power point), Carol Goffe & Dave Maclay-Schulte (Preparation of the candles), Schuyler Hermes  (Wreath), Donna Lewis, Meggie Lewis, & Kalyn Wees (Vocal trio), Julie Ludington (Pianist), Paul Ludington (Liturgist), Kendra Ruff (Children's message), and Julie Weindel (Admin. tasks).
