Last Sunday of Winter

We begin the worship with the bringing of the Light

"The Scripture Way of Salvation"
Sharing time with the church family
After what has seemed to be an endless stream of rainy days, the last Sunday of winter arrived with mostly sunny skies and a real warmth across the Valley.

The chimes shared this morning's anthem, "Aria," a moving offering to our God. Pastor Charles took as his text, John Wesley's sermon, "The Scripture Way of Salvation" (1765) and Ephesians 2:8-9 (found at this link).

Thanks this morning to: Liz Goddard, Bev Schneider, Cathy Hackett, Mary Hackett, Belinda Alkula, & Lisa Nichols (children's teachers), Dave Lockman (praise music), Hazel Smith (organ/piano), Tom Bishop (video), Cammie Edgar (overhead slides), Dean Diers (liturgist), Mitch Edgar (acolyte wrangler), Sierra & Hannah (acolytes), Marilyn Murphy (chimes), Mary Costello & Lynn Moshier (greeter/ushers), Don Nelson & Paul Goddard (offering counters), Carol Gragg (children's time in service) and Sonia Henry, Carole Koval, & Carol Varien (fellowship time).
