The United Methodist Men met for breakfast, fellowship and an informative program this morning in the Fellowship Hall of the church.
Thirteen men were on hand to enjoy pancakes, fruit salad, and ham steaks provided by Dean Diers and Bill Gragg. Pastor Charles provided the devotional, a reading of the birth narrative of Jesus in Matthew from "The Bible in Limerick Verse" by Fr. Christopher Goodwins.
The program was provided by John Fisher who brought a guest, Doug Snyder, who spoke to the group about Brush With Kindness. This is a great program which helps low-income home owners maintain the exterior of their homes with short-term projects.
Our next meeting will be on January 11, 2014!
